About

Coach Chris

Over 25 years of experience in the beautiful game of football, I, Coach Chris Coello, have honed my skills in strategy and player development. As a versatile player, I have had the opportunity to play in various positions including defensive midfield, attacking midfield, and winger. Throughout my career, I have represented teams such as MSC Dragons, Baltimore Bays, Freestate, SAC, and even the Olympic Development Team in both Maryland and the Regional Team.

My love for football started early on, I was a product of my environment. I was first introduced to the game at the age of 3. I grew up playing on a local team in New Jersey and at the age of 8 my parents and I would travel to New York to play with the older boys. I played varsity football at St. Benedict Prep and Mount Saint Joe. I was able to travel to Italy and Brazil throughout my years in high school. I would play against the youth teams of Parma, AC Milan, Palmeiras, Corinthians, and São Paulo. I was able to train with very successful and passionate coaches but the coach that left an everlasting effect on me was my own Dad. He made me the football player I was and I hope to do the same for others. It's this passion that has driven me to become the successful coach I am today. I've had the privilege of training and coaching players at renowned clubs in all of Maryland, and even serving as the lead coach for the Man City Academy program in Maryland.

My goal is to help young athletes reach their full potential and give them the tools to succeed on and off the field. I'm eager to continue my journey in coaching and I can't wait to see what the future holds for CoelloControl
